Gift of Education Days Party: Free, Virtual

Please note: this event is at 5pm eastern/4pm central/3pm mountain/2pm pacific

Join us for the free Gift of Education Days Party, where Mali Rising’s friends will come together to kick off a new school year in Mali. We will treat you to a special, short video tour of one of our schools (featuring several of our teachers and students) and take your questions about school life in Mali. We will also celebrate the end of our Gift of Education fundraising challenge and cheer for three award-winning Mali Rising volunteers. All in just a quick 30 minutes of your Sunday afternoon.

During the event we will:

  • Explore one of our schools -- Judge Memorial Middle School -- with a fun video tour.

  • Answer your questions about what it is like to go to school in a small Malian village.

  • Honor this year's Rising Spirit Volunteer Award recipients -- Tim Gibson (Spirit of Community) and the students and faculty of Judge Memorial High School (Spirit of Giving).

  • Celebrate our plans for the coming school year in Mali

This online event is perfect for:

  • Anyone curious about life in one of our Malian schools

  • Parents and kids wanting to explore how other kids get an education

  • Those pining for international travel after so long of staying home

  • People interested in getting to know more about being involved in Mali Rising

This virtual event will be the celebratory end of our The Gift of Education: Three Days of Giving Challenge running November 11 through 13. We will share more details about those days shortly (spoiler: it is a great chance to be part of supporting our students in the coming school year!). Although the Gift of Education Days Party celebrates the end of our giving days, you do NOT have to give to participate…although we sure hope you do. ;)

It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s easy to join us — sign up for the Gift of Education Days Party below.
